Although A.C.T.S. has its own breeding program, we also take puppies donated by reputable breeders.  We are mainly looking for pure bred Golden Retrievers or Labs.  Parents must have hip clearances.
If you are breeder who is interested in making a puppy donation to A.C.T.S., contact our puppy coordinator, Cathy Burke at cburke@assistancecanine.org.

Usually when a puppy is donated and the breeder is willing, we like to meet the puppy and temperment test the puppy.  We try to pick confident, people oriented puppies because they have the greatest chances of making it as a service dog.
