Puppy Raiser
Our puppy raisers are volunteers who take a puppy into their homes, raise and train the puppies from eight weeks of age to placement with a client (usually around two years of age. Breeder Caretaker
Breeder Caretaker Families are volunteers who take one of our breeder dogs into their homes. The breeder dogs lives with the family except for breeding and whelping. Once the breeder retires, the dog becomes the property of the family that raised them. To learn more, check out our Breeder Caretaker Info Sheet.


Puppy Sitters
Puppy Sitters are volunteers who take puppies in training into their homes for short visits, like a weekend. This allows our puppies to get used to sleeping/living in homes that they are not used to, experiencing things they might not normally.
